First Aid, CPR, and AED Training
Understanding the basic principles of first aid and knowing how to respond in an emergency can make a critical difference. While every emergency is unique, providing prompt care to an injured or ill person can prevent their condition from worsening and, in some cases, even save their life.
This Course is Designed for
Those who may need a course for employment:
- Lifeguards
- Camp Personnel
- Babysitters
- Health Care Workers
- Those serving the public in or outside of the home
- Anyone who would like to learn the knowledge to care for an injured or ill person, family member, or friend
What You Will Learn:
- Basic lifesaving skills in the event of a victim of cardiac arrest
- First aid skills necessary in the event of an injury or sudden illness
- Learning the skill of "stopping or slowing" the "acute loss of blood"
- Recognizing and interventions to assist heat and cold emergencies related to being outdoors
- Recognizing and interventions for insect, snake, or animal bites

- Active, hands-on practice of skills
- There will be videos and discussions on accidents, injuries, and illnesses, and the interventions needed to assist the victims.
